I have decided to stay in Cheddar for another year. It's because mostly that I will be able to make fairly a lot of money, have a rent free flat, and pay off some of my student loans. I also don't want to give up on this town- I think God is going to do some awesome things with the young people here and there is so much scope for youth work- with my work in the school and the youth cafe. So it's another year as a ex-pat for me. I am happy to have it settled, I was freaking myself out trying to decide and then just thought- God sometimes doesn't care what you do as long as you do it, you know? So there you go.
Oh and super news- my hep C test came back negative, as did my sisters. So relieved. Now I only have my parents to worry about, who are being frustratingly casual about the whole thing. They don't even know if they are going to bother with biopsys.

Good to hear (I've been waiting for your email!) about your test results. Sometimes people act casual about very scary things because they don't want to freak themselves/family out and/or don't know enough about it to feel freaked out. Hepatitis C isn't something you can just put aside and deal with later. They should really think about the biopsies - they can see where their livers are at/how the livers are handling the Hep C and what can/should be done. Maybe it's beacuse I have already been through the treatment, but still, they should really look in to what they should be doing to make themselves feel better. I had a biopsy and it really wasn't that bad and it was good to know what was going on with my livah. Let me know how things go.

Why did you need to take a hep C test, if you don't mind me asking. When I read that, I had to double check that it was Emma, not Amanda, I was reading about. I am also over tired, so parden me. Go Cheddar! I am proud of you-- you know, two years is nothing-- when you look back on your life, you'll hardly remember England if you do leave there and spend much of you life in the US or wherever, so now you'll have one more year of memories-- England will be that much more of a part of you. I think that must be a good thing.

my parents were both diagnosed with Hep C so we all needed to be checked. Luckily, none of us have come up positive. Thanks for the encouraging word about England- I am really looking forward to staying another year now, I fall more in love with this place every day!
